We have wrapped up the third week of high school football Here in the state of Georgia. here is a brief recap of our Top-10 in each classification.
In Class 7A, the biggest mover was North Gwinnett as they jump to No. 3 after shutting out Parkview on Friday. The Brookwood Broncos are in the poll for the first time this season at No. 8. Over in Class 6A, Douglas County and Riverwood both jump up one spot while Carrollton dropped two spots to No. 9. The remainder of the poll us unchanged.
The Veterans War Hawks make their debut in the Class 5A poll as they come in at No. 7 this week. Ware County is also up four spots to No. 5. Meanwhile in Class 4A there was a little jockeying in the polls, but no new teams enter this week. The same can be said for Class 3A.
In Class 2A, Callaway takes over the No. 1 spot after Rabun County fell to Jefferson. Heard County comes in at No. 10 this week, making their debut in the top-10. In Class A-Public, Schley County scored a big win over Wilcox County and comes in at No. 5 this week. Wilcox County drops to No. 9 this week. Meanwhile, the Class A Private poll remains unchanged.
