Week-9 came and went with some great action across the state. Several teams were off last week but there were still plenty of big games that have an impact on seeding for the upcoming postseason. In this feature, we take a look at our Top-10 through the first 9 weeks of the season.

Perhaps the biggest game of the state was in Class 7A as Mill Creek and Buford locked horns. It was Mill Creek that out dueled highly rated Buford. The win bumps Mill Creek to the No. 1 spot this week while Buford falls to No. 5. Meanwhile, Parkview lost to Archer, and as a result, they drop from the Top-10. That makes room for Norcross who is back in at No. 10 this week. There were no changes in the rankings for Class 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A or 2A this week as all of the Top-10 teams remain the same.

Class A Division I saw a little shake up as Rabun County was upset by Elbert County. Elbert stays put at No. 4 this week while Rabun County drops to No. 9. The region race is still wide open as both teams still have to face Commerce. Finally, in Class A Division II, Early County drops a few spots down to No. 7 after a loss to Brooks County. Otherwise there were no changes to the Top-10.
