The favorite to repeat, Cartersville, was upset last week by the Blessed Trinity Titans. There will be a new champion, and the field is wide open. Marist is probably the favorite now that Cartersville and highly ranked Ridgeland fell last week.
There are four private and four public schools remaining in the 4-A playoffs. In our first preview we will look at the Marist-Burke County game and the St.Pius-Woodward game.
The winners these games will face each other in the semi-finals on December 1st.
