There have been no big upsets in class 5-A. The usual suspects have made it to the quarterfinal round. 6 #1 seeds are here along with two very good #2 seeds in Jones County and Carrolton. These are all heavy weight matchups and similar to Class 6-A, this will be the first time any of these teams have met each other on the field.
Our first preview will feature the Rome-Starr’s Mill game and the Buford-Stockbridge game. The winners of these games will face each other in the semi-finals on December 1st.
