We are down to the final 8 teams for each class in the state tournament. Some of the interesting story lines from the largest classification are the upset of Lowndes last week and also the defending champion, Grayson, loses in the second round.

In this second preview, we will feature the Parkview-McEachern game and the North Gwinnett-Marietta game. The winners of these  games will face each other in the semifinals on December 1st.

This week, we needed to recoup from the information overload, so we took a look at some of what we thought were the more intriguing matchups across the state. We will preview 8 games this week. Then, we hope to bring you full previews of the quarterfinal match-ups.

In this installment, we will feature a Class 5-A match up with Jones County traveling to Wayne County and a 3-A matchup with Calhoun hosting Monroe Area.
