Fields will be lined, marching bands making final preparations and countless volunteers are working tirelessly to prepare for week one of the high school football season which kicks off in earnest this weekend. Five of the county teams will be in action on Friday.
Today we take a look at the matchups for Cherokee, Etowah, River Ridge, Sequoyah and Woodstock. Last season, the county sent 4 teams into the post season. Will the county be able to duplicate that success this season? It all starts Friday night, August 18th! Get out and support your local teams!
