This week’s GHSA Top-10 rankings saw plenty of movement across the state, with several key matchups shaking up the standings in multiple classifications. Newton took control of Region 4 in Class 7A with a win over Grayson, while Dougherty and Worth County pulled off major upsets to earn spots in the rankings. Class 2A was especially busy, featuring several Top-10 showdowns, including Heard County’s continued hold on the No. 1 spot. Meanwhile, Mitchell County joined the Class A rankings, and several other classifications saw little to no movement following a dominant Friday night for ranked teams.
